Anzac Day 2022

Post by Swagman »

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.

Cheers Gamekeeper,

It was good to see the march in Sydney again after 2 years of covid! Over 15,000 veterans marched and there was a very big crowd watching. My thoughts today are with my Uncle Ray, a pioneer in the 9th Division AIF, served in Tobruk, New Guinea and Australian Occupation Force Japan.

Without those men who went to do a dangerous job, it probably would have been a much worse world we have now.
