A bunch of men gave their lives for what they believed in. I have never been there, but I am sure that the weight of history is palpable there. May they all rest in peace.

A very bloody killing field for sure, a lot of bravery on both sides but thankfully the good guys won. May those that did not return RIP.

It was said that of the US Marines fighting on Iwo Jima that "Uncommon valor was a common virtue"....
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....
