Very cool!
I've been buying and selling a bit so I have some pictures to take tomorrow. Between the Ruger single actions, S&W N frames and a few others I have always been a 1911 guy. I grew up shooting one and when I got my first one, it was the best thing ever.
I promised to take Bubbles out for dinner this evening. I'll get a picture of her outfit in her new boots I bought her for Christmas. That should buy some time for new gun pictures!!

Thanks jb, I like both SA`s and the 1911`s and fight which one to carry so maybe the SA on the right and 1911 cross draw.\
As laid up as i`m getting i better not fall in the snow or i won`t be able to get up.
Looking forward to some pics.

Got me a new rig today. It's a Galco Summer Comfort for the 1911. The small 1911 I've been carrying lately is the Star PD. It's a 6+1 45 with an aluminum frame. The new holster holds any size 1911. The 5" just hangs out an inch.

I had a single stack Taurus 9mm but one of my accursed children stole it and the Galco holster and probably traded the whole rig for a couple of joints.
You can see it's an IWB rig and boy do I like it.

Nice looking rigs. The 1911 is a good looking design.

Sorry this took so long. Been a busy weekend. Again.
Bubbles and her new Christmas outfit and boots. She's just too cute not to share.

a few 1911s for Pitchy.
On top is my dad's Colt 1911A1. They Bought those for $14 each back in '63. He had a friend of my grandfather's
refinish it and put the target sights on if for another $20. The ivory grips came from a long time friend of theirs that had been in the
British Army, had the grips made in India and gave them to my dad when he retired from the insurance business here in the States.
The Combat Elite is a replacement for the one he had bought me as a HS graduation present.
The Third is a 1911 made in 1913 that I bought while i was still in college for all of $375. I will forever be grateful that one survived the Purge.

My new favorite 1911 alongside my dad's custom A1 is a Nation Match with a set of bone grips a friend gave me. Good friends are hard to come by.
