Anyone have any experience with these Tryol 5022 made in 1957,22lr with early Khales scope with quick detach mount

No but i'd like to hear more about it. Is the trigger as silky smooth as it appears? Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

No clue but I bet it shoots better than anything you can buy today. It might need a good barrel cleaning. Nice purchase.

IIRC, they were made in the Austrian town of Kufstein and imported into the US by one of the now defunct importers.
I remember seeing ads for them in gun rags of the day by importers like Flaig's, Stoeger, Old West Scrounger, etc, etc.
I think that they were bought out & moved to Germany sometime around 1959-60.
The accuracy was said to be on a par with it's competitors of the day (Anschutz, Walther, Mauser).
IMHO, however, they don't have a value even close to an Anschutz, simply because the Annie is better known, and is still in business.
If it was my Annie, AND I had to have the Tyrol, I'd want some cash (or equivalent) from the Tyrol's owner in addition to the rifle.

Ya passed on the tryol, condition just wasn t there.It had a crack at the tang and the stock is otherwise just too beat up for the value the owner put on it.Had the gun been pristine I would be shooting it right now.
