I picked up another .32-20 recently. I really looked around and wanted to make sure I found a good one, it took me a month to nail down a gun I really liked, and instead of it being another Winchester, I got this Marlin 1894. This one was made sometime around 1916-1917 and has a bore that is about as perfect as you could ask for.
I took it to the range yesterday but the benches are still buried so I had to sit on a 5 gallon pail and use my shooting sticks. I haven't sighted it in yet, just decided to play around, shoots a bit to the right, but the action is smooth and I think once I get it on the bench it will really show how good it is. This target was from about 40 yards.
One of my favorite guns and calibers! It's tough to beat the diminutive .32-20 for accuracy. And the 1894 in this caliber function flawlessly, and shoot accurately to very long distances!
