Well, here is my range report on the new to me 1907 Colt. I just fired a couple of cylinders at 25 yards or so. This sucker shoots better than me!
The gun and my Russel Annabel books.
This target already had the top 6 holes in it from shooting my two 1873 SRCs. I held on the bottom of the black and got the group pictured. No rest, just two handed. Cocked with my left thumb. You know, like SASS. Oops, just counted holes. Guess I fired 3 cylinders.

A pretty neat "blast from the past" MM. I like the pre war Colt nickel silver medallions you have there on the grips. Hard to come by today...at gunshows I buy every beat up pair of pre war Colt and Smith & Wesson grips I see just for the nickel silver medallions. I use them in stag, ivory or even decent wood grips that are old but lacking the desirable medallions.
I'd take a Christy's converted pre war single action Colt any day over an original second or third gen. I've examined a few of those Christy Colts and the workmanship was top notch with attention to detail in the metal to metal fit.
OK, the final question........ can I have it? -------6
Yes, it's a Christy conversion with Micro sights on it. Colt replacement barrel with address on the side. No shake at all when locked up. The springs are a little much for my taste but I can fix that. Yeah, it's a keeper so NO 6.
