Wanamaher Arms Show

Post by M. M. Wright »

The Wanamacher is this week end, April 7 & 8. If you're going to be there please stop by. We'll be on island 9A on the upper level.

I enjoy that show greatly. I'm still mad at myself for not buying a certain SxS 16 ga I found. But, if I had, I wouldn't have had the cash to buy the M71 with bolt peep I found later.

Work interferes this time so I can't attend. I hope you have a good show and visit with lots of friends.

Is this the huge Tulsa show? I'd love to go someday, when I can walk better.
Guess I'll have to make do with the little show at the fairgrounds here this weekend in Alamogordo. Prolly be ... 30 tables ...

They rent electric scooters there! Go while you can.
11 acres. They say, if you go both days, you have 18 seconds per table to see them all.

It's nice to see a gun show with things other than what is hot/new on the market right now.
Gatling guns, drillings, muskets, military collectibles, antiques of all genres....

There are lots of Tulsa guns shows, but the Wanenmacher in April and November are the good ones

Well between the huge car swap meet today, and plans to go to Denver for the CGCA show in May, I had to miss Tulsa. My brother lives there, and I HAVE TO make the show! So far it's on my bucket list, but still not done!

Yes it's a lot of walking or riding. I take a Hovaround because of my new knee that is still in therapy. As VancelW says, they do rent scooters there but it would be a good idea to reserve one in advance. Last I knew they were $100/day.
