I'm looking at a Winchester 70 375 H&H Mag. Serial number G 1583340, not listed by the
usual Winchester sites for year of manufacturing. I don't want a push feed in that caliber,
does anyone know about that regarding this serial number series, I think maybe 80's ?

That rifle was made in 1981, almost surely a pusher.(one look should tell if it has the long Mauser-style extractor outside the bolt)
IIRC, the CRF post-64 Model 70's were all labelled "Classic" & were introduced in 1992.
