Hi men.

Which transit company has a green cab with a white "C" the rest of the name of the transit company is within the "C" on the side of the cab.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Perfect! Thanks!

Cowan.

They are the perfect color to paint my outboard motor for my old boat.

Yeah but seeing the trucks out in the sun allowed me to see the color up close and moving. There's a bunch of metallic green out there but that's the one for me.

Old motor and old boat? Or just old boat? My fishing boat is a '58 Lone Star Skipper. I use several different motors, but favorite is a '66 Merc 20 hp.

New motor (Yamaha 25 four stroke) and old boat. Gonna make the new motor look like a 1956 Mercury Mark 30 in quicksilver green.

Have original cowl top and front to graft onto the Yamaha cowl. Wont look exactly the same but will pay homage to.

Cool idea. It would be even better if you could incorporate the "toaster" wrap also. One of our club members, Bud Eiler, was one of the largest Merc dealers in the 50's. He came up with the idea of the pastel colored cowls to go along with the boats of the day. He painted a couple motors and took them to the Merc factory. There rest as they say is history. Check out AOMCI.org, we have a for sale section for non-members if you need more parts.

I will definitely have the toaster wrap. Not exactly sure how yet. The original part is readily available but not long enough. If I cut it to just do the sides and front, I could paint the back that same green. Otherwise, a stainless wrap with 3M "chrome" gel adhesive applied properly might look the part.
