Intriguing pump. Be great for a small garden near a pond or creek.

Heck, I keep one of those in my Jeep. Made it up years ago. I guess I should have patented the idea, but I figured it was so simple anyone could think it up.

I'm surprised more rural people don't use The Ram Pump more often. No power or elbow grease needed.
You can cut in a gradient if one doesn't naturally occur. :idea:

I got the parts for a PVC hand-pump years ago for in-case-of-emergency, but since then wound up scavenging the fittings for other projects.

I cheated and used a couple 'flap-valves' though.

It is probably a good idea to be prepared for no electricity when you live out where you have access to water.
