Pretty interesting, and for war time an excellent little quiet carbine. But the best Enfield ever produced was the Pattern 17 Remington Enfield in .30-06. At least in my opinion. The US Enfields were the cream of the Enfields!

I like that. I also like the shotgun at the end of the video.

230 grains of lead zipping through the air very quietly would sure make for instant "removal of sentry". :D I have a Winchester Enfield '06 laying around that someone butchered the stock up and added a few holes to the receiver that I picked up for a c-note. The barrel and action is crispy new....other than the extra holes....when I get time I'm gonna sbr it to about 10" and add a suppressor. Pretty much the same idea as this video but it will be 220 gr. of 30 caliber lead. It will be my version of a 300 BO. (That stands for "black out", not Barack obama) :D I know you knew that.

A while back I was shooting my buddies suppressed Colt AR full auto in 9mm with subsonic ammo. We were shooting in his indoor range and the backstop is threaded chopped up tires and the only thing you could hear was the action slamming back and forth. -----6

Looks like the "ears" were chopped off too.

I like how it uses (modified) 1911 mags. A guy with a good brazing kit could make some decent 15rd mags for mad minute work...

And... If ya gots tha scratch:
With the odds of ever coming in contact of the real-thing outside of a museum being slim-to-none, the best most of us can hope for is a replica. Many small companies in the US and abroad have gotten into the business of producing De Lisle reproductions, complete with NFA registered integral suppressors. These include Valkyrie Arms and Specialty Arms and range anywhere from $1200-2000.
