Personally, I really admire that Nonesuch guy - reminds me of the stuff I used to do as a kid, only I wasn't nearly as talented...
A free citizen should have 'survival' skills that include 'improvised weaponry' - after all - that's a standard U.S. Army training manual, and if our 'masters' want us to always have our sons and brothers go overseas and get in wars, then if for no other reason, the more of that type skills they have, the more they can focus on other more technologic stuff during their training.

FWIW Royal is a friend of Mark Serbu in Tampa. Mark has helped Royal on a few projects. I can see Royal becoming a serious gun designer as he gets older.

Now that would be a great name (and I'm stealing it) for the followers of our Governor. In his first term he (many years ago, voters have short memories here) he was nicknamed "Moonbeam". So as Moonbeam's followers are generally batty, "Moonbats".
