European style savage 2400

Post by barbarossa »

I received my savage 2400 and was surprised to find it has a european style buttstock with a prince of whales grip and a hog back style comb. The gun is in excellent plus condition showing little evidence of use and the butt and forend wood match and the inletting fit is excellent so it does n t appear to be a replacement seems to be all original.Makes me wonder if they put a different stock on the gun for the eur pean market.Overall I prefer this stock to the regular stock.I d post pics but my photobucket account is messing up

Dump photobucket (A royal PITA), and upload your pics to www.imgur.com so you can once again be a happy camper.

Pete, thank you. I haven't been able to post pics for a while. I have something to post about that needs pictures. Sorry for the thread drift.
