Sako peep sight

I have a savage 2400 combo gun coming and have read that the sako bases fit the 2400s dovetailed reciever so would I be correct in assuming that a Sako peep sight would fit the gun as well.I would prefer a peep sight to a scope on this gun and thought this would be a good option

AFAIK, the fit should be interchangeable between them.
