Super Price On A Bushnell Red Dot

Post by Blaine »

About 40 bucks cheaper than Optics Planet, which usually has decent prices.

hey good catch Blaine

I have one. it holds zero across 4 different AR15 uppers.

it eats batteries like blazes, like overnight maybe, but for the 400$ or so insavings, it works out. I just have to remember to shut off the light.

Supposedly, the newer model is lots easier on batteries...we'll see.....

We were talking about this a couple weeks ago....I put my Burris Speed Dot on the new 1022 takedown, and I just ordered a couple of these for whatever. Maybe the new Henry .357 (you're gonna want to shoot that one 8) it's a dandy) and the 629PP that I took the Speed Dot off of.

That's a great price. I sold both my red dots at the gunshow last weekend. Wanna try a illuminated scope in the future. Any experience with those?
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

I have a Leupold VXIII, 30mm tube, 1.5-5 with the little x/circle lighted reticle I've had on a couple rifles.....If you don't turn it up too high, it's ok.......

Ordered one of these off Amazon, sent it back, got a second one.

Issue was, down at the 430 position, there was a big blob of epoxy for the wiring and the blob extended in to the limited field of view

Don't know if that's normal for these or just a bad production run, but it soured me on the product

I've heard some bad, and heard mostly pretty good.....I'll take a good look at them when they arrive, thanks for the heads up.....
I will say that the very old Burris SpeedDot is solid as a rock. I got it from a fella that had it for hundreds of .454 full house loads out of his Raging Bull. I did hundred of 300 grain .44 mag loads, and a few dozen 45-70 monster loads out of my BFR....I don't think you can break those (but, I can't afford them....)

let's look for a sun break and melt some lead. I was shooting my 9mm keltec folder last week. it's a hoot to shoot, I think you'd like it. I need to jug test it. :D
