Some interesting WW-II trivia
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws
"first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.
Want REAL change? . . . . . "Boortz/Nugent in 2012 . . . ! "

Neat vid. Love reading and watching documentaries abt WWII.
I was amazed to learn that in 1940 the Germans had an automatic radio controlled bombing system; a narrow radio beam system that directed bombers to their targets in England & then would trigger automatic bomb release when said bombers crossed another intersecting narrow radio beam. They had good accuracy and good results until the Brits figured out a radio countermeasure that caused the Germans to get lost over the channel and have to turn back.
This (The Battle of the Beams) is described in great detail in the book THE SECRET WAR authored by Brian Jones… Amazon has copies of this out of print book.
Other topics are the development of RADAR , the Battle of the Atlantic where again scientists & scientific analysis and just plain DD Captain’s ideas played a role in defeating the U Boats. Be prepared for some very dry humor.
Edit. Battle of the Beams discussed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrXXBh-15KA

The proposed Operation Northwoods https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IygchZRJVXM was kind of interesting too, although 15-years later...not hard to wonder if it hasn't cropped up since then and we just didn't know it....

That's great stuff and what we all can learn from as human nature never really changes.
I never liked the Japs and still don't.
WW2 is nothing compared to where this world is headed. There's just too many people.---6

jeeeeeeeeee...they're still finding sunken German submarines off the eastern seacoast, too.
hitler had a bomber that could fly nonstop from Germany to New York and back..
we owe our M60 MG to their M39...
it's a good thing they were stopped when they were...
