My son, who is a professional squirrel trapper, showed me the video last weekend.
He may try something similar, could be an expensive exercise.....

Squirrels make crackerjack pets... don't you want to buy a squirrel?.... AAAAAAAAAUUUGGHHHHHHH!

OK... seriously, I worked a good bit socializing an Indiana Fox Squirrel that was a minor pest but got better with attention. He(?) (we weren't that intimate) got to the point that he would come up onto our steps rail and RING THE DOORBELL so he could get scritches and cheerios.

Didn"t keep me from my socialization experiment tho...

"Chompy the Squirrel" - as a good "semi-pet" as possible when I lived in IN.

(now that I'm back in the real non-urban world I want a Bobcat... and if I had the $$$$/.gov graft I would... (One of my Schwans customers a few years ago was a NE licensed handler/breeder...and I (unfortunately) Bonded with a female kitten before she bonded with her Buyers. It took a lot of my free time (and a LOT of road miles) to get her rebonded...)
