What does "blueprinting" an action mean...???

On a bolt action, I think it means more to make sure the front of the receiver is perpendicular with regards to the bolt centerline and the front of the receiver is evenly machined. The receiver threads are also parallel to the centerline of the action and that the bolt lugs have even contact with the locking area of the receiver. Make sure the action doesn't bind and operates smoothly

Man, that is a LOT of work...!!!

Hopefully the accuracy gains work out to justify it, but I'm sure I'd never be able to tell the difference.

That is what people do in search of that last .010" in group size. It looks like a lot of work but is
S.O.P in precision rifle building.
