Here's why I like the 1911 Compact Commander more for Carry than a Sig 226...
Barrel is longer, grip is shorter, lower bore axis, and fights tighter to the body.
So what if it holds 7 fewer rounds...? With the Zig I have to hit them twice...
Ziggy is now the fall-back truck gun in a quick grab fanny pack...

If my fly WAS open, then might have had a gun to look at.
Fortunately, it wasn't, so all you get to see is a gut and a pistol...

That's an American Classic that was talked about here a week or two ago, right? and was a dead on shooter? I went to a gun show last night that had a pile of handguns and not one of those in sight. I'm with you, I like that a lot and with the good reviews wanted to fondle one to see how it fit my hands. No such luck.
Yeah, it's the American Classic Compact Commander. I think the revier was for the Full Size, but I like this size better.
Hope to get a box of Ball downrange soon...
And with the recent "news", I decided to put a BUNCH of Ball on payments... and @ $0.32 ea for new brass reloadable, it was hard to pass up...
