A perfect Christmas Eve morning

Post by jnyork »

29 geezers and geezerettes in their 70's gathered at the Metallic Silhouette range in Yuma AZ on Christmas Eve morning, 0800, for some shooting and fellowship. Perfect weather, 60 degrees, sunny and no wind at all. Everyone shot well and had a great time, we adjourned at 1130 to the local ptomaine palace for lunch. Sure was better than doing last minute shopping!! :D

Here's Glenda, a lever action silhouette competitor at the National Championship level, also a top-notch muzzleloader competitor, and a Range Officer/Match Director at NRA Whittington Center in New Mexico. Does fantastic bead work as well. Wont tell you her age, but it's about the same as the rest of us.

Here's Nancy, not a silhouette shooter any more but a force to be reckoned with at our .22 benchrest matches. Been cooking my breakfast for over 43 years now.
