Is it just me......?

..or have prices skyrocketed in the last couple of years?

I bought a standard grade without the peep site with 15 boxes of ammo two years ago for less than half that. In every bit as good condition! Where is all the money coming from that is driving prices up like this?

Does anyone have any experience with this particular seller? Is he flexible in his prices? I have been watching his inventory for about a year and a half and the prices are steadily rising through the roof!
No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself

Some guns have really taken off. Where's the money coming from? From the booming economy. Think what you want but there is a lot of money out there. The business at which I work sells pure luxury items. Nobody needs any of the things we sell and unlike guns they mostly don't appreciate anywhere near as much as guns do. Our business is up 20%+ over last year.
Sincerely,

Hobie

Priceis pretty close to average market price of things I see on web and rifle is in good shape. just look back aliile bit on what the 71's offered here have been going for. With regard to luxury and economy...could the fact that all the boomers have everything they need already and so have "extra" money for quality toys? How often do people have to replace their widescreen t.v., microwaves, fancy barbecues, etc (i.e. consumer stuff I don't even know about) explain the purchases you are seeing?

Something is seriously wrong with the thought process in the land today.
I do not have a cell phone, and I am one of the few people around that a genuine job related connection could be made.
No widescreen tv
no surround sound audio system,
my pickup is new ( six miles to work )
I do NOT own a timepiece!
I think what we are seeing is a lack of disipline in the general population,
we listen to the spin doctors, and not the internal BS meter
those that went before us did without this gadgetry, and we can also.
We must learn the proper use of the word NO

Ah, but economic growth relies upon people spending mass amounts of money of things they don't need, or even particularly want

Some frivilous purchases do improve quality of life, but I do feel that materialism has gotten way out of hand in this country.
