Speaking of finds
Didn't want to hijack iceman's thread, but it reminded me to tell ya'll of the deal of the century I fell into. Friend of a friend was selling some guns from an estate. He asked me if I'd be interested in a couple of them, and I went over to his house to check it out. I ended up with two smoking deals on a Marlin 444, and a Contender in 375 Winchester. He wanted to show me some other things he got from the estate he wanted rid of, and pointed me to a milk crate full of "stuff". I dug through it and seen several sets of S&W J, K, N frame grips, old Mossberg peep sight, some scope rings and mounts, but the one thing that caught my eye was a perfect set of Colt Python grips. I thought it over and asked him what he wanted for the whole crate. He said, what will you give? I just threw out $50. He said, that's what I was thinking too. So I took it all home and started selling items on ebay.
Three weeks later I'm about to the bottom of it, and have sold over a $1000 of "stuff" out of my $50 milk crate.
The Python grips that caught my eye sold for $286! Crazy.

WOW! Now I'm jealous.......
With my luck I'd have paid $1000 for the crate and sold it for $50….

Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

Gamekeeper and I must be on the same page, I'd loose money if someone gave me a box of rare gold coins.

She's not always as cute and sweet as some of you guys apparently believe.
But she's definately a keeper.
