congrats on that achievement.
I'll be in and out of San Diego starting the middle of July. Any chance we could meet for a cup of coffee and burgers? Or burritos . . .
PM me if you want to . . .

Just a recommendation that you should update your security clearance and watch USAJOBS.GOV for potential jobs. Don't Forget to NETWORK. Good Luck in the civilian life!
Gun Control is not about guns, it is about control!

Thanks folks. Yep this will be 20 years seems like it went by quick except when I roll out of bed in the morning and sound like a 5 year old with a roll of bubble wrap. I will finally be able to grow my beard back

I made the mistake of turning down a couple of jobs working for Uncle Sam when I got out... well... one, I'm sure didn't have a real future, being a "contractor" to the "company"...

There is a fine line between hobby & obsession! AND... I'm over it!!
No I ain't ready, but let's do it anyway!
And that "thanks" extends to Dee and the boys too, as we know the families of our servicemen and women have challenges and sacrifices too.
If you change your mind and decide on... Oh, let's see... Maine -- ayuh! Let me know, and I'll help you out however I can. Or if you just decide to "detour up the coast a little" on your way out west, let me know that too.
It was cool to see your Sword mentioned above; I am sure you still treasure that. As for me, I treasure the fond memories of this gang all joining together to surprise you with that sword -- and then of getting the honor of meeting you (and the sword) and your wonderful family many years ago.

And when you do move , I hope that sword is still legal out there
What they dont know can't hurt me
Oh it is. My business partner has his Officers sword hanging on his office wall.

I plan on it. I will be taking some thing like 75 days of terminal leave so got a little time before they stop paying me active duty pay to figure things out.
thanks Ed.
