We're cleaning out stuff in Mom's house as she's in assisted living
Anyway, my Step dad [RIP] evidently had a real nice 1904 Short/Ex Long (LR?) Wood is super good & the case coloring is visible. Also, my Grandfather's Masonic Sword ..... he had the highest rank, 35? 36?....from 1965......
I feel blessed. ...my sis would have discarded both. and not said a word.

If you shoot the 1904, I've heard its best to stay with standard vel ammo. Hi speed can loosen them up according to some that have tried it.
I had a friend years ago that had one, I always thought they were really interesting looking guns.

Nice find! I would think quiet 22's or CB longs would be just about right for the 1904. My Grandfather had about 67 years in the Mason's. My Dad and I are the first men in the family not to wear the apron.
Hi guys! A noob here, but I shot some CCI mini mags through my 1904 when they first came out. Was fine for a couple rounds, then one let go and blew past the head clearance. Showered my face with powder, but missed my eyes.
