Different type of grouping but still shooting.
I took up my bows again and have been practicing for the last few weeks most every night. This is a new to me used 50lb Bear Montana longbow I got last Sunday. Four arrows at 20 yards.

That sure looks like a good group to me, I have not strung any of my bows in two years now. I may try it this summer.

A Bear Montana 50# was my first longbow. They aren't super fast but they are consistent Jr. Has mine now. Good wood arrows were so hard to find I finally ended shooting 2016 aluminum in mine.

Nice shooting!! This spring, I want to start practicing with a longbow. Don't know anything about shooting, but I'd like to practice each day. Hopefully, I don't get started using the wrong technique.

Kurt watch some of videos from world archery cup that should give you a good idea of what proper form is.
Marvin you might want to start shooting at different spots on the target. With the way your shooting you are gonna wreck an arrow with a robin hood. Good shooting.

Thanks guys. Just another way to save on ammo. I do what I call small game safari which is plastic bottles of various sizes and use judo and small game hammer points. Almost impossible to loose an arrow with these points. Some flu flus for the grackels in the trees are nice also.
