A Little Prayer For Mom....

She's 90, and so very, very sick right now. The flu knocked her out completely the day after her big 90th BD party at the church. She spent a week in hospital, and has been in a rehab facility for another week. She won't eat, and is not particularly interested in getting better. They just rushed her back to hospital with bad chest pains, and she's nearly gone. I would ask that the Lord either quickly take her, or provide a reasonable measure of relief, and comfort to her. Thanks.

(Mom and Thor completely bonded a couple years ago...they were inseparable the last three times I went there....I'd like to think Thor will be there with her when she goes home)

She had caught pneumonia, and a urinary tract infection at the Rehab place....*sigh*.... As of an hour ago, she was slightly pulling out of it a bit.....If she gets thru this, it will be another rehab room, and eventually looking to some sort of semi-Hospice arrangement.

Lost my mother figure several weeks ago to a very fast moving cancer, and even though we are all adults, it was quite a shock to the family. She was the backbone.

I hope your that Mother has a speedy recovery.

That's a good sign, Blaine - She has spunk.

My grandmother's skin turned all grey, when she was hospitalized long ago, @ age 90.

As I sat with her, over the course of the day, her color returned & she lived until a few days B 4 her 100th B-Day.
