30-30 combo

These are two oft used carbines from our rack.

The Winchester has 12 inch twist but shoots best groups with 170 grain ammo by FEDERAL. The Glenfield has 10 inch twist but shoots best groups with 150 grain ammo by Remington. This doesn't match logic at all.

30-30 is a keeper!!

That's a switch. Usually the Marlin has the pistol grip and the Winchester has the straight grip.

Nice combo.

Nice rifle's. I have never seen a straight grip glenfield. Very nice.

I've found over the years that most of my guns don't read the same books I do, so they don't seem to understand the 'rules...' :wink:
