Picked up this old buck saw awhile back.
It seems to be in awesome shape.
The blade is still sharp, just needs cleaned.
The only markings on the saw is a 0 stamped into the blade.
It does need a new set of blade pins.
Where would be a good place to get a set?
I'll bet they can point you in the right direction, and may even be able to identify the blade. Plus, they have lots of really neat saw stuff to look through. They have been very helpful folks, in my dealings with them.
That really is a fine looking saw- nice find!
Good luck!

If it comes to it, you could make new pins out of brass rod. You melt the end with an oxy-acetylene torch to form a ball, then put the pin through a hole in a steel plate and hammer the ball flatish (probably have to anneal once before you're done). Won't be as pretty as those, but functional. I used to make silver nails for small box hardware this way.
Thanks guys.
The local Ace hardware had exactly what I needed for a set of replacement pins.
Heck they even fit better than the originals.
A little gun blueing they look like they've been on their since day one.
