Not impressed.

I've been looking at those for some time. I hear the barrel is a little rough and they get a lot more accurate if you firelap them.

I have a 77/22 and 77/44, both in stainless/synthetic - they are my 'rain guns' for woods-walking and deer-hunting, respectively. Unlike most leverguns, you can take the entire stock off the action/magazine easily, if you've been out and rain-soaked. I'm a 44 Mag fan, so even if the 357 had been available back when I bought the 44, I'd have likely still gotten the 44 - but the 357 probably is the better 'overall' cartridge for most purposes.
If I had one in 357 Mag, I think I'd get it rebarreled for a threaded barrel so my Mystic suppressor would fit it. THAT would be a nice setup. Maybe even do the 'SBR' paperwork so I could have the barrel around 12 inches...
Someday.....

nice option from Ruger...my obvious response is that I still like the .357mag in a levergun... :)

In a dark and hazy room, peering into a crystal ball, the fortune teller delivered grave news:1892 wrote:Freudian slip..? ...2571 wrote:2d time this week I've seen deer hunting spelled with an 'a' here this week. lol

Your husband will die a violent and horrible death this year."
Visibly shaken, the young woman stared back at the old woman's lined face, then at the single flickering candle, then down at her shaking hands.
She took a few deep breaths to compose herself. Her mind raced. A question forced it's way out...
she simply had to know..
She met the Fortune Teller's gaze, tried to steady her voice and asked,
"Will I be acquitted?"
