My daughter took me on a trip to Pensacola yesterday, to see the Miranda Lambert show.
Had a real good time
Stayed all nite
Got up this morning a little late
Went to a few antique shops
While at one of these shops the lady said you probably like guns, don't you
I told her just a little
My daughter laughed, and said how'd you guess that
Well the lady said there was an auction 2nite with a lot of guns
She pulled it up on the net, and there it was right off the bat 1897 marlin
She points us in the right direction, straight across the road
Skinny on over there, and sure enough looks better in real life
Looked at the tag 400.00, reached in my billfold, got out the mun
The man said, I done listed it on the auction, and wouldn't sell it out rite
I told him I really wanted to buy it
Told me to come back tonite
Said it would bring around 325.00 to the 400.00
He had put that number on it as a reference
Also had a savage 99 in 303
And a marlin guide gun
Just kinda made me sick, but Ash was missing the baby so we took off
Got to the next stop light, when the man behind us rearended us so hard it knocked the marlin off my mind
All is well tho, I just don't own that 97
This isn't the gun but close.

But we were not hurt, her new 4runner has a hitch on it and it kelp his truck off the bumper, just a small scratch on the plastic of her bumper
It hurt her feelings mainly
Bout the time we got to lucedale, my neck hurt a little, but I took my arthritis medicine, and it went away
My son in law got a little ill cause we didn't make a police report
But he'll get over it
I hate I missed that rifle
There's a man in town got the same rifle at 1650.00
