Help with the Lyman DPS II Powder Measure
I have been using my Lyman DPS II Electronic Scale for loading cowboy silhouette loads and have probably only loaded about 1000 rounds with it since late 2005 when I bought it. As I was loading this evening, the unit started to falter a bit when it shifted to the trickle mode. I could hear it trying to move, but the measure didn't move. I resorted to tapping the powder rod a few times to get the powder into the pan. Obviously, I plan to call Lyman to see what can be done. My question is this, has anyone had a similar situation with their Lyman, and do you have any suggestions as to how to rectify the problem without shipping the unit back to Lyman? I have been very pleased with it, but I don't believe I've worn the unit out. I did buy the upgrade kit and was wondering if that had any impact on it. Has anyone had experience with Lyman's customer service? Thank you. Matt
