Winchester 94 John Wayne Commemorative 32-40

Post by daisygordoninc »

I have a John Wayne Commemorative 32-40 I would like to sell, I have almost no experience with gun-site sales,
do you have any opinions on where it would be best to list it for sale on-line. Guns America, or one of the auction
sites ?

.

Unless you offer it artificially too low or too high, generally the best way is on a "guns-only" auction website, where it would garner the highest viewings (more potential buyers).

I've had excellent results by starting my auctions @ $0.01 & let it run 7 days. on www.gunbroker.com - but YMMV.

Whatever, be sure to use many clean/clear pics, including some close-ups, of the rifle and/or original box/sleeve/papers (if you have them); and a full written description of the condition, including disclosing any known defects.

Good Luck !

I have always used Guns America just mention in the ad that the sale will conform to all state and federal laws. You have a choice classified or auction. :D
You will pry my Winchester 95 in 405 WCF from my cold dead hands!

I use Gunrboker everyday and at the moment I have in excess of 100 auctions running . I generally start my auctions at what I wanna get out of the gun and if it goes higher so be it .

Most of what I sell I sell for other folks so I'm not taking chances with penny auctions and then I need to pay them back for whatever the item didn't bring .

I do not set reserves , just make it plain and simple and start it for what I need to get out of the item .
