Better late than never

Finally the tulips are blooming! After an ice storm and several late winter cold fronts that froze the leaves, the weather warmed and the buds are a popping! :D
Spring may really be here.

Here in north Arkansaw the tulip trees and the yellow Johnquills have been bloomed for a week or so.

When I see a Mesquite start to put on leaves and a Scissortail I'll believe it. Would like to see some of that Spring rain I've heard about.

My pear tree has blossomed. I didn't set the date on the camera, but the picture was actually taken about a week ago.
And, another picture for your fun. Sighthunter and a few friends.

.

In the flower bed on the sunny side of my house, a few dozen Crocus' have sprouted & flowered this past week.

Small migrant birds (IDK the species) have rented, refurbished & moved into one of my birdhouses, too.

We still have ice on some of the feeds to the Hudson river, I was at a boat landing yesterday and the owner was saying the old timers have not seen ice after St Patrick's Day, in all their time. So much for global warming.

No tulips here, yet. Probably another month. I took these pics at 7 PM tonight (4/2):

I was just talking to some friends about how good this year was going to be for Maple Sugar and syrup making.
