Oh yeah! My gkids and ggkids would love that. Although they'd rather have it on a 10/22 I suspect.

 wonder how much of my hearing loss, and ringing are due to the thousands of unprotected .22s I shot as a kid?

I used to set up a bullet trap and target for my son to shoot at with his Crickett in the back yard. I gave him the Aquilla quiet rounds and he could hear the bullet hit the paper over the sound of the round going off. Those quiet rounds are great for paper punching in the back yard without making any noise. The sound of the firing pin hitting the round can be heard by almost anyone who is within 5 feet, and beyond that it is pretty hard to hear anything at all unless you have really good hearing.

I picked up a Cricket a while back just to use as a loaner when I go to the range with friends with kids. It is a good little shooter. The only issue I have with it is the shape of the trigger. It pinches my finger and is not very comfortable to shoot. I plan to make a new trigger for it. It is a very simple part but looks to be cintered(sp?) metal so heating and bending is probably out of the question.
