Found a 99% marlin straight wood 35Rem on AA.
Well, I've been lookin for one for a long time so I bought it.
I gave too much for it, $335.00 but like I said I've been looking for a straight stock 35 for a long time.
It should be here in about a week, but the wife is saying I dont have time to shoot what I've got.
So I'm thinkin maybe she's right, an I should sell some that don't get much time.
I'll start with a Win 45 Trapper, I'll take $8,000 for it., and when it sells I'll pick another.
Yea, the wife is always on that trip making (trying) us downsize. I wish I had a nickel everytime my better half and I had a battle over that. But that was in my earlier years--she finally gave up.
One thing I'm not going to do in life and that is when (if I'm lucky enough) I hit old age and I'm in my rocking chair, I'm not having no regrets. I live a clean life and provide well for my family and by Lord, I'm going to be happy and nice guns make me happy---along with the ability to shove several hundred pounds of lead down their barrels -------Sixgun
The other day I fueled my pick-up. Both tanks empty it took about 33 gallons-----$127.00. So why worry if you paid maybe 20 or 30 dollars too much for a gun?, probably didn't pay too much at all, but the fact is the dollar is getting worth so little that I'd rather have the gun instead. That gun may bring 500 in another 2 or 3 years or less.
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.
