Wow! A double powder charge in .22LR? I would have thought a factory for sure would use a charge that wouldn't allow a double to fit in the case. But not to worry -- the only 22's on the shelf I have seen this past year have been Federal, and that has been a rare event.

Had a double charged 22 Winchester Wilcat destroy the bolt and extractor on our Marlin 39a. Case head blew out the gas port and the case body stayed in th chamber. Had my boy not have had his shooting glasses on, he would probably not have sight in his right eye. ALWAYS wear protective glasses when shooting.
