The stainless one is NOT the frame the build will be on.
It is just like the frame the build will be on, I provided it so the sight system can be clearly seen.
The build will have adjustable sights.

John, that you know, was shooting double charged .38spc in his Taurus five shot before he realized it. That Dillion of his was pretty easy to set up the wrong way. Pistol didn't seem to be hurt.

Had a really nice S&W HE 32 Long that was a joy to shoot...my best friend's daughter in law needed a revolver so it went on permanent loan to her...she works weird hours as an RN and the parking lot gets awful dark...it would drive nails with good ammo...looking forward to your build...

I have a load that is safe in these guns, an 85 gr. Hornaday XTP that will go to the back of the second water soaked Phoenix phone book and the 85 gr. bullet expands reliably to .64 caliber.

Not hard to do, but I'm confused... you're NOT building the nickel gun... and the blown up one is someone else's... so the black gun is being rebui;t, or just donor parts needed for???

Okeydoke, finally found it. Just needed the right search term. So right now you've got it milled, polished and waiting for the stars to align so no body cuts themselves while bluing it? Yeah, I've got a soft spot in my heart for a dandy little 32 SWL popper!

It was a 4" barrel sixshot, made and sold in Brazil - no idea if it ever made it up to the US of A or not. Traded a worn out Winchester 73 and a couple boxes of ammo for it. Also had an adjustable rear sight. Very accurate pistol - IF I did my part.

Expansion is not the quality that is needed in a no nothing small caliber like the 25 or any 32, with the exception of the 32-20 or other modern 32 gizmos. Penetration is the key to killing vermin. Stick a 115 grain 32-20 bullet in a 32 long case along with 3.5 grains of Unique and you will have a load that will reach the heart.
Yes, I am correct. Mescalero told me so many times. Thank you very much! ---6

Saeco has a real nice Keith style semi wadcutter 98 grains, I like the looks of those.
Re: here we go
In all of this I neglected to inform the readers the gun is not for me.
My ( Dumb Butt ) friend scared the carp out of his small frame wife, with the Model 19 ( I gave him ) and a full house 158 semi wadcutter load.
After a lot of butt chewing she informed her husband I will teach her to shoot, he will not be present; and she don't care who don't like it.

Re: here we go
Far too many guys think it's "funny" to hand a heavy kicking pistol to a first time shooter. I'd far rather start them out with a 22 and let them work their way up. Shucks, that's what I do to myself when hitting the US after three or more years of occasional low power 38's and pellet pistols. Start with the 22's then work my way up to something with more punch. It takes a while to get back into the game. Anyway, a 32 does make a good choice for a gunshy person. Not much recoil or noise and at self defense ranges it'll get the job done. Shucks, maybe with proper coaching she'll make the way up the ladder and eventually outshoot her husband with a "real" caliber.

Re: here we go
Do we know who's Smith Mt gun was blown up?
The 32 projects looks interesting. I like the early 32 hand ejectors, I think theyd make great fun guns and small game getters. The early ones look like small versions of the 38 M&P's.

Bummer. Have you looked for one? A note on the Smith forum may be worthwhile. I sold a 3" J frame 32 barrel a couple years ago. I think I got about $35 shipped for it. Don't think the J barrels work on an I frame though.
