Blaine,
I hold no animosity towards you.

I get up every morning with a smile on my face. I hold that true smile throughout the day, whether I am at work, in public, with my family, or here on Leverguns. For reasons unknown to me, I sometimes meet people in life who just don't like me. These individuals have blindsided me by telling lies, putting nails in my tires, all sorts of anonymous hurtful devious deeds have been perpetrated by that 1%. I can't change their way of thinking. I will not put time and mental energy into figuring it out. It is life.

I do not attempt to exact revenge, unless it's in my face and I need to defend myself, my family, or any innocent people or animals who do not deserve that treatment.

You do not like me, period. Don't pretend you want to make amends in a meaningful way. Your chemistry will never allow mine to blend in.

You mind your business and I'll mind mine. There's plenty of room here on Leverguns for both of us to maintain a safe distance.

Well Blaine, it's now in my face. I invite everyone here to read my post in classifieds, starting from the top. It's titled "For auction in Pa. Western T22 Target Ammo"

Let's show the boys how you antagonized me into a response after you posted the same ammo at a cheaper price, (but unavailable for 5 months) and then deleted it so other people would not see. You had no business responding at all as you were not bidding.

I'm done with you and this subject. Please find another person to beat up on to unleash your hostilities.----6

You know, I've been here a long time, then ABSENT for a long time. Then I posted what I thought was an INOUCOUS thread about the harmfulness about marijuana to the developing adolescent brain. While I did not intend for it to be so, it IMMEDIATELY became the subject of all sorts of anti-government radicals on this board who reserve the right to smoke, inject, snort whatever drug they choose while also seeking to preserve their gun rights to do so. These radicals I DO NOT THINK represent the overall opinion of this board.

Sixgun was the ONLY person who really answered honestly IMHO. I side with him.

They're big boys so they can settle it themselves .

Now "not in the vein of ACTING like friends or gentleman" , personally I feel if someone is just "acting" then whats the point !

And lastly "This all needs to cease NOW !" , I don't feel that you or I for that matter have any right to tell two other people what they can or cannot do especially when the figurative you or I was not singled out in the discussion or argument however you view the whole thing !

Not ready to give up on you Blaine. I don't believe in call blocking, "unfriending" whatever. Too cowardly for my tastes. None of us are perfect, but if we can't at least talk to each other, then nothing gets resolved, does it? I just get tired of so many topics getting turned into some form of anti-government propaganda. Things here in the USA are far from perfect, but if you want to see what TRUE corruption looks like, look towards what is currently happening in Ukraine where my Mother came from. If you have a dissenting opinion, you get beaten for it. One of the most corrupt governments in the world right now. I side with my Ukrainian brothers and sisters there who are fighting for a better way of life (I was there last spring and plan on returning this summer). Even John McCain went there and said it was one of the most powerful experiences in his life. A very brave people, JUST LIKE US when we were going through our OWN Revolution. Meanwhile, for all our perceived problems here, we are WAY MORE FREE than Ukrainian citizens. WAY more free!

We all make mistakes Blaine. Six is a good guy. On many occasions, you have been too. I have no interest in "unfriending" anyone. Things change over time. We all make mistakes. We move on and grow from that. Jeeze, imagine that.

Its called life.

Actually the way I took that meaning was not as Blaine described but as used below.

The meaning of the urban definition of "cheese eater" FROM THE DICTIONARY!
To bribe!
(When you have that one person who tries extra hard to kiss someone's behind for an advantage over others.)

Got to say I am 100% with Sixgun on this issue. Sorry Blaine!

Given the fact the post was a auction and Jack had a smile by it, that makes perfect sense.
The gross definition Blaine said, wow, weird! :?:

Well, one thing for sure, gossip gets more attention than a free give-a-way of 1886 Winchesters. :D

For the record, back in the old days, when the Teamsters had some strength, and I was a young guy learning the ropes from the old heads, I was told that once you were labeled a "cheese eater" you were marked for a blanket party in the back of the warehouse and that label never came off.

It was honor to your fellow union brothers. Nothing like the unions of today and for that matter, the last 30 years. My "teachers" were WW2 and Korean War vets.

You know, I've given your suggestion more thought, and I don't think it's appropriate that a WHOLE THREAD be dedicated to a disagreement between two men and then everyone else potentially gets sucked into it. I would agree they should sort it out, but they should do so PRIVATELY at this point and not waste Levergun bandwith and space to discuss it further. Blaine tried to make a public apology. I commend him for that. For some plausible reasons, it was not accepted.

I think some mistakes may have been made on both sides, but it is CLEARLY not going to get resolved anytime soon and this thread should be allowed to pass away. When these guys have had some time under their belts, they will work it out.

But this place was never meant to be a forum for "public bickering". Just read Paco's mission statement: "This is a high class place so act respectable."

That is not what is happening now. Let them sort it our privately, or not at all at this point. It can wait. With some time, they may once again find common ground.

I have never met a man or woman who hold grudges to be a very worthwhile companion. Life is too short for that.

Yeah, I work in public education. I work with America's finest.
