I would say that carbine has been used some, reckon it is still able to take some more meat.

Like seeing a working gun with some character. If that gun could talk the stories it could tell. You happen to have any pictures of game that it has taken over the years?

I love to look at purty guns. But the guns I like to shoot are the ones with "character". Yours looks like quite the shooter!

Hey Griff, I have a few 94 30wcf carbines, I think the last I read of yours was more like a couple of dozen. They are kinda nice to look at and fondle ain't they.

I have a 94 of the same vintage and have had folks tell me that they were the low point of Winchesters history. All I can say is its a VERY good shooter that killed ever deer I ever shot at and went off every time I pulled its the trigger. I shows its age now and has some memory marks on it, but like your Dads its a keeper!

Good thing your family did not have a tradition of notchin the stock for every deer. Might need a new stock by now.
