Hey Guys,
Does anyone recall the pressure on PMC's 45-90 300gr smokeless cowboy ammo? Ran across some locally and was wondering whether it's safe to use in my old (1888 manufacture date) 1886.
Thanks,
tw

No idea, but don't see why it wouldn't be safe in your '86. The 1886 is pretty sturdy, and any cowboy ammo is usually pretty mild.

Right! If PMC's 45-90 ammo is anything like their 40-65 ammo, it will be a mild load. --------6

I wouldn't use it until I found out for sure, be bad enough to damage you, but a hell of a thing to damage the 86.
