A former co-worker of mine killed his wife and then himself Monday morning. She had been suffering from serious health issues for the 14 years that I knew them. Please pray for the family members. They might have a hard time accepting what happened.

I've seen terminally ill patients euthanized by spouses who couldn't stand seeing them suffer, then commit suicide because they can't stand the emotional pain of what they've done.

It's sad that people find themselves in such a horrible position after years of life. There is no easy path in those terrible situations. My deepest condolences to you and your friends' family.
