Nice outfits.....now let's see a close up of the rifle! I am looking for a good felt rifleman's hat like that one. The capote seems to make a lot of sense.

I do hope it’s serving you as well as it did me this many years later.
I never got cold wearing it on those after Christmas PA. primitive
muzzle loading deer seasons. :)

Funny how our interests change over the years.
Back in the late 80’s into the early 90’s I literally lived, ate, slept & dreamed
black powder / muzzle loading.
There were a number of years that long-rifle was the only gun I carried into
the woods during the various deer seasons.


The Yorktown Rifle is a 1760-1780 period York County Pennsylvania Rifle.

Basic Dimensions:

Overall Length- 55" Drop at Heel- 2 7/8"
Trigger Pull- 13 3/4" Drop at Comb- 1 5/8
Width of Buttplate- 2" Length of Barrel- 39"
Height of Buttplate- 4 3/4" Weight in 50 cal.- 7 lbs

Features
Lock- Precision assembled Large Siler Flintlock. (Fine tuned in our shop)
Triggers- High quality Davis double bar, double set triggers.
Barrel- Green Mountain Barrel 39" long. Available in .40, .45, .50 and .54 cal.
(Mine is in 45 cal.)
