South Georgia Baptism

Post by redlevel42 »

In a cold water creek. Our little Church on the banks of Whitewater Creek about 100 miles South of Atlanta has been Baptizing new believers in the creek for 110 years now. Our current pastor has been here for 32 years. He and I shoot together. We are both believers in the Gospel and in .45ACP 1911 pistols and .45LC Leverguns.

The Baptism took place earlier this summer. I love the way these pictures are illuminated. Fitting, I think.

My Dad was Baptized in the Yuba River circa 1960 and I was Baptized in a nice warm heated Baptistry in 1972.
