Very cool, that turned out nice, and a great idea.

Yep, same "Meanc" here. :D

I originally posted that thread in January of 07', but another RFC member brought it up from the depths
and wanted me to repost the pics.

Anyway, it's still just as solid and accurate as the day I bought it and is as handy as it gets.

Thanks.

Since I originally did all the work to it, I've actually cut down another inch off the stock to make it more user friendly for my daughter.

It had a few dings in the stock and forearm so I cleaned those up too.

My daughter loves her 9422 but it's a little long for her right now, so she's really liking the ability to cycle the lever and getting it up to her shoulder for a comfortable fit.

BTW, it's had a little over 5000 rds thru it now with no problems at all.

So it's definitely proven its worth, plus some.

I like the dove tail front sight. I've been trying to have my son try one of the youth Henry's on for size. But every time I have my son by a gunshop they don't have one in stock. But I know I have to alter the front sight from what it comes with and I like what you did, looks great.

All it needs now is a crescent or carbine butt plate. I've been thinking of doing that to mine and adding a tang or receiver sight
