Help; T/C Contender broke

Post by 3leggedturtle »

No Hammer parts that I can find. Don't want to send it back to S+W. I have the hammer with the crossbolt safety, and fring pin selector that u turn with screwdriver. Numrich and Ed's are out. Any other you can think of? If I send it back, will get a different updated type hammer. Do not want that. This is 1st pistol I bought and want to keep it original. :D
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!
