Skinner sights in The American Rifleman

Post by Chuck 100 yd »

Skinner Sights got recognition in the Rifleman this month.
It`s about time they were recognized in a national publication.
Look in "Random Shots" pg. 30.

About 40 years ago I saw a wright up about a man in Federal Way WA. who was making screw in choke tubes for shotguns. I immediately sent him a Remington 1100 trap barrel to work on. His name is
Stan Baker and shortly he sold that invention to Winchester and it became the world known Win-Choke system. Within a couple months Bakers shop went from a one man shop to having 80 employees. My barrel is still my favorite shotgun barrel and stands in my shop at the ready every day.

If you have been putting off ordering a Skinner sight,I suggest you jump ahead of the crowd that surly will follow. :D :D :D

Very cool! I just got my first set of Skinner dovetail rear sights for my pair of Henry's. Heading down to install them shortly.

The latest issue of AR also has a nice article on the Ruger series of Lightweight Single Six's, with pics & a SN table with details.
