In need of a part for one of my '94s

Post by jdt »

I have a 94 AE Trapper in 45 Colt that i picked up used a little while ago.
I'm down in Alabama doing some shooting (and visiting with the inlaws) but unfortunately the carrier snapped without warning.

I've been to the usual places (Midway, Numrich, Brownell's, midwest gunworks, Nu-line Guns) without success.
The Winchester office was closed for the holiday, but I don't expect them to have any.

So, any ideas where I might find this part or a workable substitute. I was just getting to know this little rifle and our relationship is too young to die!

Thanks in advance.

Wisner's at the bottom of the page, "post -64" will fit all except the pistol calibers.

Winchester might surprise you. I've bought dozens of parts for post-64 94s from their 2010 parts catalog on their website. What's cool is that the folks that answer the phone really seem to know their stock.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Thanks, I'll give Winchester a try on Monday.

Griff - Unfortunately mine is in 45 Colt. Probably qualifies as a pistol caliber.
