Surprise! I Found 4lbs Of Lil Gun

Post by Blaine »

 I don't remember ordering this, or even why I ordered it. I've got 6-7 pounds of Blue Dot for my .44 Mags, and 357s. Anyone got any Lil Gun loads for .45acp? Except for Hornet, or Bee I can't think of any Lil Gun rifle loads, can you?

I use Lil' Gun in my 25-20 Win, 32-20 Win, 38 Spl +P, 357 Mag, 41 Mag, 44 Mag, 45 Colt, and 480 Ruger so I buy it by the 4# jug as well. In the 218 Bee, I prefer H4198.

Blaine
when you burn all that Blue Dot in your 44 & 357 try the LIL GUN in them
or just burn the LIL GUN now & then in a year or so when you find the Blue Dot again
you can post another CRS moment

4 lb Lil Gun? That's strange. Most little guns weigh around a pound, maybe a pound and a half.

Blue Dot? I thought those people who ran 7 elevens had red dots. :D ------------6

Lil Gun works great in heavy loads for the .44Mag. and .45 Colt.
I just loaded some 300 gr. .45 Colt loads with it this morning. :D
A faster powder would be proper for the ACP., TiteGroup, Universal,Clays, 700X,800X, Red Dot, etc. work well.

I agree with Ranch Dog about it being used in the .480, especially as I find it gets better velocity in the 400 grain loads than H110 does. I haven't used it in anything smaller than a .45 Colt.

Lil'gun is the most ideal powder for use in 357 magnum loads, best velocity for pressure, very efficient. H110 for my 44 mag, Lil'gun for the 357 mag.
