Recently got one. I've been using the Lee turret for nearly 20 years without problems, but was lured by more speed of the Lee 1000.
Everything seems to be working fine EXCEPT when the case is first loaded, it does not line up with the deprimer/resizer.
It is not the indexing since it is lined up side-to-side. The case seems to be leaning forward and if I gently push it back it works. It also aligns with the other two dies fine.
I leveled the table and checked the the press. It is also level.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, any solutions? I'll probably call Lee om Monday, but not sure what to expect.
Thanks
Any Lee 1000 users out there?

Hi JDT,
Try cleaning the shellholder recess where the rim of the case fits in. Use a tooth pick etc. Also check and make sure the rims of the cases are clean. Tumbling media dust and dirt will cause the cases to tilt. You have to keep an eye on any spilled powder and the primers, otherwise it will jamb. Keep it clean.
What are cases are you reloading?

I converted my 1000 to just a 3 hole turret to load rifle and pistol. looking at the old case feed mech I would check the plastic ram that pushes the case into place, by your description I would say its not pushing the case far enough into the shell holder as you are manually finishing the job. Might need lubing or adjustment. danny

Do a Google on the Lee 1000 progressive and you will find a stack of info on the various problems people have with them and a stack of fixes as well. You are not the first person to have your particular problem and there is a fix for it but off the top of my head I cannot remember which site I found it on. There is even a review out there where the guy says that he threw the 1000 out of his workshop window and if you can find it in the junk out the back you are welcome to it.
The answer from BigSky is not the same as the one I read. The article I read the guy found that he had a case alignment issue, not a case location issue.
I've recently started looking at getting a progressive due to aging elbow syndrome. Pulling down the handle 100 times has to be easier on the elbow than 400 times.
General opinion on the internet seems to be that if you need a progressive, save a little extra and buy the Dillon 550. That said there are a couple of things about the Lee that I like better than the Dillon, like the 3 station with auto indexing. Everything gets fed in with the left hand, not both hands, and the primers don't need to be picked up individually from the flip tray.

Big sky - The case is moving as far back as it can but still tilting forward as if the table wasn't level (which it is, I checked).
Btw, I'm loading 45 Colt.
I doubt it is the rims since some are brand new. I will try cleaning out the shell holder with a toothpick, this might be the problem since I did spill some powder.
