Ruger Single Six year it was
Manufactured. Have looked at a few sites and am confused. Serial # is 60-16XXX none of the sites show a serial number with a hyphen in it.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

There is a serial number look-up on the Ruger web-site, did you look there?

You might have had trouble because your Ruger isn't a Single-Six.
It's a SUPER Single-Six, which makes a difference both when looking up SN/DOM, and parts.

Pete44ru Thanks that explains the the undercut patridge front sight. This pistol sure loves the W-W 45gr Dynapoits out of the Mag cylinder. They also average 1240fps from the 6.5" barrel. Funny thing is, both cylinders are fluted and neither have a number on them.
